Richard spent 3 years in foster care before aging out at the age of 18. He has always been fascinated by photographs of people and places. He started out as an “iPhone photographer” and eventually taught himself how to use a DSLR. His dream for a drone was fulfilled by Dream Makers, making it possible for him to explore more and grow in the area of videography.
He works as a freelance photographer/videographer and at a local non-profit that helps current foster youth. He is an active advocate for foster youth and shares his story of his time in foster care in hopes that it inspires others.
He has been shooting professionally for 5 years now. Portrait, weddings, lifestyle, events, landscape: he does it all! He is located in Southern California and would love to help you remember those special moments in your life.
