Meet GeQwan, one of our dreamers. His dream for copper pots and pans was fulfilled, equipping him with the tools of choice he desired to further his culinary skills and pursue cooking as his passion. We can all make a difference in the lives of others.
“I did not speak until I was 5 years old. Soon after that, I was diagnosed with autism. I entered the foster care system at the age of 16 and aged out without a family to belong in or any meaningful connections to be a part of.
After aging out, I put myself through Auguste Escoffier Culinary School in Boulder, Colorado. I dream of becoming an entrepreneur and am selling my spices online to pay off my culinary school loan. Thank you for your support! It means more to me than you’ll ever know.”
